Everyone has been heartbroken at some point in their lives. It’s never easy especially when you think you’ve done so much to make the relationship work. Some might have seen it coming but some has absolutely no idea it was going to happen. Whatever your reason, stop crying over spilled milk and learn to accept the way things are.

Spending time with the people you love the most is one of the best broken heart remedies. With them, you can forget about the person who has hurt you. You can count on your family and friends to cheer you up because they can relate to whatever you are feeling. Do not push them away as you tend to do when your mind is clouded by the pain and misery that’s engulfing you. Remember that they will always be there to support you and that they too are affected with the things you are going through. When at times that you feel the need to be alone, just ask politely and they will gladly give you space.

Do not wrack your brains in thinking what you did to have caused a failed relationship. It’s a two way process and both of you are at fault. You’re differences are too much that you can’t compromise for the sake of the other- and that will never do a relationship any good. There’s no rationality over blaming yourself.

Level yourself with the positive side of the situation. Without a commitment, you can explore the world freely and possibly get to know people other than your circle of friends. Take this time to think nothing else but yourself. You deserve to pamper yourself after all those dreadful nights you spent crying. Reinvent yourself, now is the perfect chance to do so. Buy the insanely expensive dress you’ve been eyeing for months (but you can’t buy because you were saving for a gift for him).

Find your inner peace that for so long you can’t seem to have. When you’ve finally accepted what had happened, embrace your status- take the chance to meet new friends and be merry. The world is vast and it’s just waiting to be discovered.
